With Jonathan Seibert’s drive, determination, perseverance, and passion for workplace processes and culture, it’s no surprise that Vision Solar is one of the fastest-growing solar energy companies in the United States. Since 2018, the year Jonathan started Vision Solar, the company has already experienced a 17,000% increase in annual revenue. They’ve added 600 new jobs to their workforce, mostly out of their New Jersey office, and plan to add over 1,000 green jobs in NJ by the end of 2022. This rapid expansion has led Vision Solar to be recognized as one of the top solar companies on the East Coast, with a clear path of more growth to come.

Jonathan Seibert isn’t just committed to the organization’s growth, employee satisfaction and social responsibility are also two of his biggest motivators as well. Jonathan prides himself on the workplace culture he’s worked so hard to create for all of his employees, with the help and support of his executive team. He’s a firm believer that a family-friendly workplace is the key to a positive company culture, as there shouldn’t be any negative spillover between someone’s professional and personal life. Maintaining a strong, employee-first culture increases job satisfaction and maximizes productivity.

Additionally, providing careers and opportunities to people across the country through the green jobs Vision Solar creates is also important to Jonathan Seibert, as is the energy savings they’re able to extend to homeowners through the installation of their solar panels. Reducing their carbon footprint is a top priority for Jonathan, and helping people do the same is what inspired him to get into the industry in the first place.

Through Vision Solar, Jonathan Seibert is also able to give back to local communities as well. For every solar system the company installs, Jonathan donates a portion of their profit to GivePower, a nonprofit that develops clean water and energy systems to water-scarce regions across the world. They’ve installed over 2,600 solar power systems across more than 17 different underdeveloped countries globally.

Jonathan Seibert has held a Master Electrician certification for almost 10 years, with expertise in operations and process management. He attended Camden County College with a focus in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, where he graduated in 2009. Jonathan moved his way up through a local company after graduation, but he very quickly realized he was unsatisfied with where his work was taking him. This is what inspired him to build Vision Solar from the ground up. This was one of the best decisions Jonathan has ever made.

In addition to his company and his charitable outreach, one of Jonathan Seibert’s proudest achievements was being named an Entrepreneur of the Year 2021© Greater Philadelphia Award finalist, which is a recognition given to unstoppable business leaders whose ingenuity, ambition, and courage help to create a better world.

But perhaps one of Jonathan’s greatest achievements is his family. He is happily married to his wife, and proud father of a bright, beautiful daughter. They currently reside in New Jersey with their dog. Jonathan is a big Philadelphia sports fan and when he’s not working, he’s attending local sporting events and traveling to different countries with his family.
